Overview: Saving the Donald- History of the Effort
The original page provides a full chronology of events, including pertinent documents and emails, to account for what had occurred with the public’s investment of $97,000.00 in cash and additional significant inkind contributions, which were provided in part to secure and repurpose the Donald Standard Chemical Distribution Building- an important heritage building in Canada. The chronology includes original dealings up until the landowner began works on the building independently in 2016 and terminated the charity’s access to the building in 2018.
The web page has been temporarily taken down, however, should you wish to find insight into the the events that transpired and the current situation, critical documentation includes the MOU ( Jim O DIC BB MOU July 2010) between the charity and the landowner, the Donald Industrial Plant structural review, as well as other important documents found at the offices of the municipality of Dysart et al.
